1794 C-6a R-5+ Liberty Cap Half Cent Coin 1/2c

Description

Likely lightly cleaned and now tan and light brown with olive toning in protected areas. The surfaces are covered with uniform microscopic granularity. No verdigris and the only marks are a light but obvious scratch from the bottom of the cap into the field right of the date and a few small rim nicks at S OF. The date is easily readable and more than half the legends remain readable, although none are clear. The reverse is rotated 20 degrees clockwise.
