POLISHED NOT CHROME
Sanded smooth with 150 220 400 600 grits sand paper than machined polished ... this is not like chrome that peels and flakes off .these  legs polished not a coating like chrome. The trick to keep nice is wash with just soap and water.dry them and just wax with same wax you do your tanks with.if they do get nasty just hit them up with aluminum polish and the bounce right back
