New Stainless Coffee, Nut, Grain Roaster.
This gas roaster (propane or natural gas) is made of beautiful stainless steel. It has a rated capacity of 12.5 kilos, or about 27.5 pounds. The heavy duty drum, also of stainless steel (304 ss), is powered by a chain driven 110 volt electric motor that is reversible.
The electric motor and drum controls are placed in a separate insulated compartment to protect them from excess heat. When the drum is spinning to the right, it is in the “roast” mode. When it is spinning to the left, it empties out whatever you have roasted. This is a very convenient and safe way to remove your roasted coffee beans or other products.
The adjustable burner under the drum has 12 individual jets for evenly heating the drum (please see photos).
The roaster is fairly compact in size given its capacity, measuring only 37.5” wide, 18” deep, and 37” tall. It weighs about 100 pounds and is mounted on 4 caster wheels to make moving it easy.
This set includes a stainless hopper for loading the drum, as well as a tray, propane gas line (type 1), and detachable power cord. A natural gas line can be used in lieu of the included propane hose.

As with any roaster, it should be used in a well ventilated area, preferably with a ventilation hood or similar equipment. This roaster has a 3” vent located on top of the unit and 3” ducting can be easily added to it. All types of nuts, seeds, or grains can be roasted as well as green coffee beans.
Be sure to remove the hopper prior to spinning the drum. Pre-heating the drum prior to roasting is recommended. This roaster has been fully tested and works perfectly and has a 1 year warranty on parts.
