I have owned for years. Starting to crack and fall apart. I wash in dishwasher that doesn't help longevity. They keep the wet food fresh as my cat eats 1/4 of can at a time. Dog eats a 1/3 at a time and keeps food fresh. Will buy again as these lids are to replace ones going bad after a year. If review helped please mark helpful.

These have been the most reliable 'tight' lids for cat food (normal size not fancy feast tiny type) and dog food as well as typical soup/corn cans.
At the current price, today 3/15/17 they are triple what I paid for about 3 years ago and only now starting to have the tabs break off the lids which is why I came looking for more. I purchased two sets of other lids, one I'm not sure if I bought online or where that had 'pay' embossing on the lids and about half of them were loose, hard plastic not silicon/soft like these were when I bought them years ago. I bought some more embossed lids locally and they are all hard plastic and loose so pretty useless.
I wish these hadn't tripled in price, my old lids still seal tight but not having the tab to rely on has me looking for extra/replacements for if/when I break the edge/seal in trying to pry them up.

These are great!! I bought them at my local pet shop and they stopped carrying them. I had a pack of 3 but I recently just broke my very last one. They usually end up splitting around the pull up tab area from usage. I was disappointed because when I went to buy more from my pet shop, they only carried the other ones with dual rings for multi can sizes. I had one and I hated it so much because it was SO stiff and it wouldn't fully cover the can. I only ever left it lightly capped but it never snapped close. This is annoying as I was always worried about something knocking it over and spilling in my fridge. Then I saw these and they looked like the ones I had previously bought. I took a shot and ordered because they're so cheap anyway. When they came, I saw the "spot" logo on the lids and knew it was the same ones!! I'm sooo happy because they're so flexible and soft, and the fit the can's perfectly. It seals it entirely so my little dogs canned food is fresh and moist for the 3 days that it needs to last. The other caps left the food dried up a little on the top. I will say that I think because of the flexibility, it's more prone to the splitting. That's a consequence I'm happy to deal with because it works so well and it's so cheap to buy more.
