Top Cowl 1994-98 Mercury Mariner 75 & 90 hp 2 stroke Hood Cover

Description

Top cowl pulled from working 1995 hp Mariner 75hp 3-cylinder 2-stroke outboard motor.  Good general condition with a few cosmetic flaws but complete and structurally sound.
I am told this is also a correct fit for the 90hp motor as well Mercury and Force motors from the same at least 1994-1998 and possibly some later years as well, with the paint color and/or graphics being the only substantive difference.  Please verify it is an exact fit for your motor before purchase because obviously we'd rather avoid returns on such a large item.
marineengine.com is an excellent resource where you can enter your serial number and get detailed exploded diagrams of all your motor's parts.  Many motors will have identical part numbers for the lower cowl but different part numbers for the upper cowl based on the cosmetics alone.  If it has the same lower cowl as another model engine then the upper will most likely fit.
(I recently replaced a missing cowl on my 1999 Evinrude 6hp 4-stroke kicker with one from a 1998 Johnson.  Different color, different graphics, different part number with no indicator whether it would fit - BUT -  the lower cowl for both motors had the same part number so I rolled the dice and placed my order.  It was a perfect fit!)
